Odette, a beautiful princess, falls under the spell of an evil sorcerer. Only Prince Siegfried's devotion can save her. Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake combines pure romanticism and tragedy, in a magical tale of love and deception.   4. Hansel & Gretel – SCB Academy

    Hansel & Gretel – SCB Academy

    Southern California Ballet Academy presents their annual end of the year pantomime Hansel and Gretel featuring over 100 dancers with guest comedian Kenda Vance as “The Witch”. The well-known Brothers Grimm fairytale is creatively adapted by intertwining diverse dances from each level of the academy. From the tiny three year old breadcrumbs to the accomplished senior dancers, this danced tale will entertain and delight audiences of all ages. Highlights include variations danced by Kalena Kano and Kelsy Paroaon at the Cecchetti Team USA competition in Florence, Italy. Voted Best Dance Studio in The Pomerado News 2017 Reader’s Poll for the 3rd consecutive year, Southern California Ballet educates male and female dancers of all ages in ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap, traditional character, creative dance with accomplished faculty following accredited dance methods.
