Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! The Musical! is a vibrant adaptation of Mo Willems’ acclaimed picture book, brought to the stage by TheaterWorksUSA. This production features a script by Willems and Mr. Warburton, with music by Deborah Wicks La Puma, known for Elephant & Piggie’s We Are in a Play!. The result is a dynamic and engaging performance that captures the spirit of the original story.
The narrative follows the Pigeon, who dreams of driving a bus, despite the bus driver’s clear instructions to the contrary. When the bus driver faces an unexpected crisis, the Pigeon seizes the opportunity, leading to a series of humorous and heartfelt moments.
